lifestyle photography that centers you.

my specialty is a stress-free photography experience, and imagery that feels honest, looks beautiful, and stands the test of time.

inspired by old home videos and plastic-lined family photo albums, my goal is to create images and experiences you’ll always feel connected to.

how I honor your moments:

vibes-

We keep it cool around here- I bring a relaxed and positive vibe to your day. Weddings can be a lot, and I’m there with you every step of the way- coaching, communicating, and cheering you on.

approach -

My lifestyle approach to photography means that you get to spend your day exactly how you want to. I’ll be there as things unfold naturally but offer prompting and posing where appropriate to ensure we’re making the most of every moment. It’s the best of documentary and traditional wedding photography with none of the bulk or expectations.

style -

No two couples are alike and my galleries reflect that. I bring a fresh pair of eyes to every session and work to develop a relationship with each of my clients to ensure I’m capturing what’s most important to them- not just what will look good for Instagram.

Emma & Ben

The bride and groom walk back down the aisle of their wooded outdoor September wedding. they are smiling and surrounded on either side by their friends and family. String lights are strewn between the trees. The bride raises her bouquet.

“We absolutely loved working with Sam! She has a fantastic vision for her work and brings your own goals and hopes to life with her photos. She captured our wedding day and our engagement photos perfectly, and we’re absolutely obsessed. We’ve gotten so many compliments from friends on how strong her style is, and she’s incredibly kind and fun to boot! We <3 Comma!”

Sheric & Joey

The bride and groom walk through the halls of the town hall where they had their courthouse wedding. The giggling bride is wearing a black floor-length dress and holding an elaborate autumn bouquet. The groom is giggling back in his maroon suit.

“My (now) wife and I hired Sam to be our courthouse wedding photographer and we are SO SO glad we went with her. Sam seriously crushed the kind of style that my wife and I were looking for, and her ways of making you laugh and story telling with the photos just made our very special day that much better. This will be a day that will live with us forever, and I am BEYOND happy that Sam could be a part of it.”
